Review
The film Supergirl is an action, adventure, science fiction movie directed by Craig Gillespie. It’s worth watching if you’re a fan of the genre. You’ll get some cool action scenes and a fun story. Overall, it’s a decent way to spend a couple of hours.
The story’s pretty interesting, with Kara Zor-El teaming up with an unlikely companion on a journey through space. Milly Alcock does a great job playing the lead role, she’s really convincing as Supergirl. But what didn’t work for me was the pacing – it felt a bit rushed at times, like they were trying to cram too much into a short amount of time.
People who love superhero movies will probably enjoy this one, it’s got all the usual stuff: action, adventure, and a hero who’s trying to save the world. It stands out because of its female lead and the fact that it’s not just a straightforward superhero film. It’s got some heart and it’s not afraid to get a bit emotional. It’s a solid seven out of ten, it’s not perfect but it’s a fun watch.
